It is necessary to differentiate between two types of member. Active and supporting members.
Active members comprise natural or legal persons who have full membership rights; these are in particular the co-founding members.
Supporting members do not have any voting rights in the registered association. They support, however, the goals of the association in the form of contributions and donations. In relation to the shareholders meeting, these members have no voting rights and only an advisory function. Further, supporting members contribute to the development and the common understanding of the need for risk management in a company. Supporting members can attend IRM events at reduced rates.
